This is from last summer. We were in Norway and had an opportunity to go white water rafting. Part of the “experience” was jumping into the water (oh, say…40 F) and go for a swim. It was…an experience.

Corning your own beef

A bit late for St. Patrick’s, but here’s the idea:
Get a big hunk of brisket from Sam’s Club/Costco/where ever.  Just make sure it is not too fatty.  You want corned beef, not corned fat.  More below the fold.
